Security Industry member – Mr Praveen Chand The term of membership of the current members will expire on 22 June, 2016 and members are serving their second term of three years.Classification of LicensesA license for carrying on a security activity may be one of the following classes –a. A master license which may be for a period not exceeding 3 years from the date it is granted;b. An individual license which may be for a period not exceeding 2years; andc. A provisional license which may be for a period not exceeding 12 months from the date it is granted. There are three phases of fees namely Application, Issuance, and Endorsement. The fees have been adjusted to reflect the reduction of VAT to 9%.
