FIJI HOSTS 3RD MSG WORKING GROUP ON REGIONAL SECURITY STRATEGY

Fiji is currently hosting the 3rd Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) – Regional Security Strategy Regional Security (RSS) meeting at Nadi’s Tanoa International Hotel.

Permanent secretary for Defence Manasa Lesuma opened the meeting on July 15th 2019, is attended by representatives of the five MSG group members in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, FLNKS, and Indonesia (associate member).

The Regional Security Strategy Working Group provides a vital platform and steps towards developing and advancing the MSG Security Strategy with steady progress achieved through the anticipated Regional Security strategy
