Classification of Licenses
A license for carrying on a security activity may be one of the following classes –

  1. A master license which may be for a period not exceeding 3 years from the date it is granted;
  2. An individual license which may be for a period not exceeding 2years; and
  3. A provisional license which may be for a period not exceeding 12 months from the date it is granted.

Please refer to Division 2 – sections 14 to 18 of the Security Industry Act.
